phew...after much sweat finalli managed to fit the jukebox it...and also some other codes...yep haven't touched up fer some time...although the tagboard's screwed sighs...

aniwaes how's your weekend? must have been pretty tiring fer some, running ard everiwhere...yesterdae was a realli tiring dae i guess. waking up at 8 den doing the usual saturdae routine till 10am...left fer city hall fer the straits times scholar's choice fair 2005...which wasn't tt great because we had one in our school before and it was larger than tt...so yar, met earlier wif jim n' jiali to do some shopping, which all 3 of us were sick so we were constantly swooshing wif our noses...met up wif the usual suspects later (shiwei sengee xianlun) and went into the fair...took a look ard, lotsa ppl...took a look inside the hall, lotsa food! we were lyke starving liao...hahax...but in the end we went down to the ban-mian foodcourt to eat to relive some moments...and then rushed up just in time fer the "tips fer applyin to a UK uni" talk which was rather farni...tt smile and tt shrek(can't believe tt guy took two of the glasses and put it on his head...den he was wearing some green shirt...lolx) and tt sleeping on the train and tt educationuk.org.sg...yep...was rather informative and pretty farni...

so later we went slacking ard before we went fer the last talk, meeting boss who was wearing no.2 NJ uni, and also meltu...and also a few other frens (LJ, melvyn, vivien, kuan jie??, arthur...) so yar we were basicalli walkin ard lookin fer gud scholarships (and free gifts hahax...jk) and then we landed into another talk...some personality talk...lemme try to refresh mi memory..."rock, clanking teeth, book, orchestra conductor, two plusses, flag, salesman, aspirin, lighted match..." yep...phew...and i was nearly sleepin...but he was pretty gud but nt wad we expected because we tot tt it was something a little more closely related to scholarship...but was pretty fun lar...

after tt we left fer the esplanade anticipating fer a flypast, and we sure had one! thx fer the clear skies, and den did some boliao stuff (gng up the lift from 1st to 2nd...the handicapped one...at the esplanade...took abt 1min to get up when we could've strolled up in 10s...or less than tt...hahax) and was so tempted to haf some icecream...so later was the flypast which was awfully loud but totalli cool! nice manoevers, and yar...was realli sweet...too fast too furious...so after all the flypasts, some childhood songs, the 12cannon salute (issit twelve?) which produced 3 different echoes...we left...

on the way to the mrt station, saw a guy wearing THE EXACT SAME SHIRT as mi...den his gf looked at mi while i stared at him and him staring at mi...we walked abt 10steps later, laughter...hahax...stupid lar...can't believe lor fer the first time...hope it's the last too...den on the mrt back wif xl and jim tried to get 3 seats but onli got two...den in the end three of us were guessing where the two adjacent guys would get down so i could sit...hahax...

it's just great to be back...after being sick...

what's new? everiwan ard mi is gettin sick! i'm nt even sure if it's by me...hahax...but nvm everiwan has to build up their resistence one way or another i guess...

the times where all of us wonder what our bodies are doing to us...sighs...i hate tt feeling.

especially when you're feeling like you're the sun one moment, ice the other...it's just weird.

but it's all over and i'm not complaining...been there, done that, and now i'm back...

yesterdae's council pubstunt was pretty farni, considering they put in the indian accent (i'm nt discriminating against you guys, and i know it's nt a realli cool accent to haf...hahax...thx to russell peters...) and they even included the "somebody's gonna get hurt real bad..." which almost everiwan laughed...i tink almost all haf watch the video...he rawkx! but when i thought of tt...i was thinkin when was the last time i laughed like that about a video, other than AFV...but that thought brought me back somewhere...but aniwaes, the day carried on as usual, and then there was this personal writing talk by caroline something...i forgot what's her name, but at least i could understand what she was talking about...she was from Warwick University, which was from one of the top 10 in England...so it was pretty insightful, considering it was from a well-known university...den came the writing of the personal statement which was quite okie, talking about being yourself and stuff...so yar...i'm just hoping to do well and get in...it's kinda cottage like, so yar...kinda like the cottage life :D

so todae had maths test which i tink i screwed up because of several parts...and then next PE was quite fun. we had floorball todae wif ppl chasing the ball ard, knocking people, good defense and stuff...seemed lyke everiwan was enjoying themselves...tt's good! before the A's, and also prelims...should relax lyke this...phew...and everiwan's gettin sick...jason, jim, shiwei...blueslips...wow...and many people ard mi sick too. get well soon everiwan! drink lotsa water and stuff...and for those who have injuries or other problems...rest well and be strong! we'll be beside you when you do! :D

i tink it's alwaes better to look positively, that gives you more things to have an aim about, and that pushes you towards your goal even more...the kudafarian passion that burns! life is great!

so yesterday was a bad day...a rainy day, fallen tree, lousy lessons and a stupid sore throat...

i reckon todae's even worse...

o wells, for once i'm truely not glad tt i didn't go to sch...

cept for the fact tt i heard the maths test was a killer, but staying at home posed a bigger problem i guess.

so now i'm nt even sure whether to look forward to tmr...should i go? for once i dun wanna miss lessons, and of course mi frens...then again i haven't realli done anythin for the past week which makes it pretty screwed...and then i'm still feeling tt weakness...which is realli irritating cuz tt means i can't realli do anythin without putting all mi energy into it...

at least i'm still conscious and able to walk, do things...and at least i get to stone in front of the tv for a real reason! hahax...realli love mi family fer tt, they realli took care of mi and stuff...nt just the tv of course hahax...

lotsa weird stuff happened todae i guess, weird dreams, but i guess i should just go back and sleep before more weird things happen. and looking forward to tmr! need more rest so i tink i'll be hecking mi work for the time being...just so screwed but yep, i know tmr's gonna be better!

a series of fortunate events

so...whoa it sure has been quite a week...i guess the last two daes have been pretty slack...even thursdae...

okie...on fridae there was no pe, because the pe teachers went to support canoeing at macritchie reservoir...so apparently we were let off after GP. but apparently our GP teacher wasn't there as well, so we ended after physics which was at 12.30! so we expected the dae to end very fast with onli four lessons, which was kinda true...but haiz, there's alwaes physics lecture wif tt teacher saeing tt he's nt reading thru the notes which in fact he is, and physics tutorial which was 2 periods...realli tiring...so by the end of physics tutorial almost all of us were dead. it's nt the subject, it's the length of time and the teachers...hahax...but ms yee's gud tho...aniwaes so were slacked ard sch till abt 1pm until the gate was open, and den some shooting began wif new names being created and yar...more firing...so was quite tough if you didn't haf any guard at all...went to macs which was fully populated by some sch (shudders...i forgot which sch liao) wif green skirts...nt one or two...it was lyke 75% of the customers were them! hahax...o btw we went there wif xianlun, shiwei, jim, sengee...yar...and then more firing began...waah...wif curry sauce and hot fudge...haiz...kinda makes you wonder if everithin's just so easy to link...but honestly it was quite farni the things we could link together...hahax...

so after tt we left fer macritchie to watch canoeing (or so we thought lar)...took 165 there, a double decker which had the seat sensor (i mean, they show the no. of people upstairs). so we came to a conclusion...the last two steps to the top are pressure sensors...the last step contained a light gate...if you bypass one step of the pressure sensor it will register nothing...so yar...and den xianlun was testing out the light gates swinging his hands lyke some...i dunno...hahax...but overall it was nt bad...you learn something new everidae! when we left the bus we walked to macritchie and found out tt we went there just to hear the results...people walking out wif sch flags (muz be those who didn't win anything...oops...)...we won "almost everithin tt we could win" (someone told mi tt...but i forgot who liao) which was realli great because tt signalled another possiblilty of a half dae...aiyah we can alwaes count on canoeing fer tt...aniwaes it was quite terrible there, wif canoeists frm many schs drifting past you, and then the whiff of scent tt follows...waah...but the atmosphere was great...okie good, nt as good as track and field cuz many left liao...haiz...but honeslty i feel the council has done a superb job this month...firstly because there were so many events this month, swimming, canoeing, track, and they were alwaes ard to cheer wif enthusiasm and power...so no matter what others sae, council rawkx! (makes me wonder if i would've joined council if i knew wad would happen...hmmm)

after tt, we left fer jim's house...honeslty i tink it's time to clear mine cuz it's just so nice lar...and he's veri rich lor...hahax...went there to play mahjong, but on the way there, there was dis uncle on the bus having fits or something lidat, talkin to himself den shouting occasionalli...poor thing xia...aniwaes it was fun playing mahjong after such a long muggin era, and also at a new house! next time probably xianlun or...i dunno...hahax...muz meet up regularly fer dis wor...hahax...it's a great time to erm bond? hahax...so the dae just ended at tt spot...but it sure was great...

dis sat (which was yesterdae) was the Z-pop concert (organised by zaobao, biore, pan pacific hotel, hang ten, and some others...hahax...cuz they kept playin the advert...) and also NDP preview, so city hall was pretty packed...you see a sea of red walking around, policeman wif their SMGs, and many uniformed groups as well...so it was pretty tensed...walking ard, i tink it's time fer mi to go shopping liao...wanna buy lotsa stuff...aniwaes when we walked there the firing continued (hahax...o the same guys went there todae) but suntec was more packed than ever...so we walked ard looking for things to eat and settled fer the $2 fillet o fish...den went up to the concert hall, wif us being relegated because we had the 20bucks standing (but complimentary tix thx to our lao shi) so we were standing in front of the screen, nt the stage, but we could still see the stage jolly well of cuz...the atmosphere was high because they were introducing the jue due superstar finalists, and so everiwan was screaming and stuff...waah...but i'm nt watching tt show so was quite clueless...hahax...so a chain of people came out but nt much impact cuz they realli couldn't sing realli well, but still okie...esp the chou pi jiang shouting lyke...hahax...dunno...and then some gal stepped on mi hand by the side...ouch...and den she kept saeing sorri till i turned ard...bleh...*coughs*...and jing sha rawkx! her voice is realli nice! and yar she's pretty cute too! hahax...o there were many spoilers, talking abt male singers frm singapore coming out and we tot it was lin jun jie, but someone else came out instead...xianz...den shout fer nuthin...

after shi kang jun (or who...i forgot liao) we left fer downstairs to jiapeng, and we were talkin abt this girl beside us (what someone called the white angel...hahax...long hair, spaghetti straps...and yar...pretty chio) so we went down fer food, and apparently they went there too! somebody was busy tryin to get close har...hahax...was quite farni lar...in the end when we left they were buying ban mian so we called her the BMG...go figure...hahax...okie we guys are bo liao lar...anuwaes when we got to the convention hall once again, we heard lotsa fireworks thx to NDP, went out but could merely see a few sparks here and there, so was pretty xianz...nvm shall wait till the real dae...i realli wanna watch!! it's just so nice lar...went up and realised tt we miss fan wei qi! aww...her yi bi yi is so nice, and i missed it! arrgh...xianz...tt was one of the moments i was waiting for lor...haiz...so we went into the 40bucks area cuz you onli need to show the stamp to go in, and the atmosphere was better over there...saw tanya, and den lin jun jie! everiwan started screaming...was ahhhh! he rawkx lar...and den he sang mu nai yi, the first piano song which i'm nt sure wad...frm his first album i heard...but it was nice...and den he did some B-box (meaning tt he was making sounds of drums and beats thru his mouth which was realli nice!) and den he sang yi qian nian yi hou...which is one of the best songs of dis album "bian hao 89757"...and more screaming when he got down to the crowd...and lastly he sang bei feng chui guo de xia tian wif jing sha! it's realli nice lar! esp when he held her hand and den many gals went crazy...partner...hahax...poor thing xia...but it's realli nice both of em singing it...hahax! den we left after 183club and gigi...and our president nathan came as well! hahax...maybe after NDP preview which is quite impossible...hahax...

overall these two daes were realli great! shall blog later...phew...

and back to squeaking again

basically all wednesdays are slack daes, but todae was rather fun! even tho there wasn't any PE (which we were looking forward to because PE was just starting to get fun) and we had maths make-up lesson (which we weren't looking forward to, wif ms ng tryin her best to finish rotation of rigid bodies by this week which even boss finds impossible to complete), it was a great dae. even tho we wished we could take the two free periods into our own hands, i guess...it was still great...

basically the idea came in the form of racial harmony dae where we saw ppl playing mahjong in sch...so yar, we thought, why nt? of course in order to be more discreet we used cards instead, which still inadvertedly attracted lotsa attention and somehow lao shi knew but yar...somehow it all seemed rather okie...so tt was tt...altho the feeling wasn't realli there, brought mi back to the spirit of mahjong which i probably haven't touched fer a whole 2 months. hahax...yawnx...(mahjong is nt mi forte...sighs...but it's okie...i rather nt aniwaes...)

lunch was awesome wif a fish to each of us (jim shiwei n' mi) so was quite filling and probably lasted to the end of track and field meet. speaking of which...it was realli awesome...reached there, the atmosphere was fantastic...absolutely fantastic...the crowds were roaring, the enthusiasm was infectious and everybody was screaming like they've never seemed before. so yar, went there and managed to get in thx to rachael...and cheered fer the NJ 4x100m and 4x400m guys and gals...the gals were fantastic by winning both their evens and breaking the 4x100m championship record...reckon they beat the next best team by 3s...should've seen them...waah...realli fast...the guys did nt bad and tried their best...could see guanwen in his so-called 'bar stance' swinging his hands ard lyke someone drunk in the last 100m...o wells...in the end the gals got overall 2nd...nt bad fer the enthusiasm...hahax

nothing but extraordinary

after much debate wif jason and a few others, i've sorta reviewed the rating for harry potter. hahax...3/5 bubbles...due to lotsa rushing and glitches in the book, and her erratic writing style...after much analysing...yep...ratings gone down...dun ask mi why yet or i'll probably spoil the story (esp fer those who are trying to cover their ears...quick quick! hahax) and one more thing...sry to anyone i've offended due to this book...cuz yar i know it has some implications, but just hope tt you see it beyond the reason and just the storyline! realli sorry again...

aniwaes, todae's racial harmony day...no surprise...at least we didn't hafta read out the pledge this year, but hahax...mrs cheng's alwaes disappearing so i guess there was no long talk after all. apparently i woke up too earli todae and reached sch at 6.55...and the school's grandstand's nt meant fer sleeping either...sighs...had a backache after waking up but it's okie...teaches me to keep mi eyes open, because todae many ppl are wearing their ethnic costumes (qi pao, sarong, kimonos, and even casual if you consider tt european...) and was interesting to see another wide spead of colors other than the usual camoflauge. so yep, was realli bright and everithin...

so as part of the celebrations we had seperate events...one which i tink was some malay drumming and stuff (which sounded realli nice and loud...wanted to go there but too many ppl), some dress-up by teachers and students (fashion show of ethnic costumes, reminding mi of wad happened abt 4 mnths ago which will be impossible to repeat in NJ :D), mahjong (which of cuz stunned jim shiwei and mi cuz...when was mahjong allowed in nj) and also the sepak takraw kicking competition (just tryin to juggle the rattan ball wif ur legs and passing em to ur teammates...aim of the game is to juggle as many times as possible in 3mins) so yep rizal xianlun kenny jim and vince if i didn't remember wrongly took part fer the guys and it was a rather gud try if you consider them playing wif each other fer the first time...and also the gals ruifen maisha grace and sixun who were realli sporting to join the gals side...even tho at the end we didn't proceed on to the finals (which was sorta cancelled because of time constraints...wish it wasn't so more time could be spent on racial harmony and bonding instead of gng fer lessons...) at least we tried and had fun...remember seeing solaris doing veri well wif some pretty tyco shots and also realli nice saves...o wells...but was fun watching frm the sides...jason was there wanting to read his third time thru the book while ruifen was tryin to block out all the info hahax...

on the way back we met ruth wif a poster fer us which you can view here...thank you IPs and J1's fer tt wonderful thought! i guess we made no mistake in gng to maldives and coming back wif people lyke you guys cheering us on. we're realli sad tt in another 6 months we may nt be able to see you guys so often, but we're cherishing the time we haf rite now and yep, keep mi word of keeping contact! the kudafari spirit is buring strong in all of us, and i'm sure that in due time, we'll haf the time of our lives wif each other again! haiz...realli touched by those words...and thx to ruth again! lyke the font btw...all cheery and stuff rite now!

thx to IKEA (wif their room of ideas) rizal sorta got injured cuz they laid carpets on the empty space in front of the bookshop...maybe they're fer the library, but aniwaes so we got to class late and carried rizal all the way to class...all i can sae is tt miss yee is a nice person to care bout him...hahax...so i tink we sorta rock fer tt...:D physics was okie but as you noe the attention span decreases as time increases, so yar...was gettin more and more tired by the dae...when it reached chem some people were alreadi dead...shall try to slp more but it doesn't realli seem to be working...so later we still had chem remedial which was okie tho we onli finished 1/3 of wad we planned to finish...

so after sch we went to west mall for fantastic four...one of the last shows i tink i'm gonna catch in the cinemas until who-knows-when...and it sure was a marathon even before the show started wif us running all the way to the west mall frm the bus stop as we wanted to catch the movie...overall the movie was great...jessica alba is hot (hahax...another replacement fer angelina jolie i heard :D but yar...nt bad (acting i meant...hahax)) was quite farni, and you dun hafta read to become a fan of it now...realli nice and farni...esp the human torch...(and since jim saes it's just lyke him...hahax...burning hot...read it over and over...and you'll get somebody's name thx to xianlun hahax!) 4/5 bubbles!

overall...life's been a blast...tink to change the switches to mugging mode soon but i dun tink i'll be touching tt soon...hafta balance between mugging and fun! hahax...all the best everiwan...and of cuz we'll strive harder to play harder at the end of the year!

Book Review : Harry Potter And The Half Blood Prince
one of the best books in the series...honestly, because it has a really great storyline plotted accurately and precisely with twists and turns, and also some happy endings. the level of detail in this book is fantastic, and it's pretty easy to keep up with the storyline if you've read the series. if you're looking for more spells and enchantments, more wand-raising and suspense, this is the book you want to read...J.K Rowling sure has made her readers hooked on, but if you think the general storyline's the same, think again. it has many twists, unexpectable events, and also many reference to the past books, which makes it again one of the best series ever. 5/5 bubbles!

finalli finished it and got hooked onto it cuz it's so nice! the storyline, the description...everything. it's just great. and when you finish reading the book, i'm very sure you'll be looking out for the next book...very very sure. yep...tt's all fer todae...yawnx...pretty tired liao...nitez! or monring...hahax...

woohoo...life rawkx...kays tt's random, but it's true! looking at the things ard mi...i guess there's everi reason to be happi abt...as compared to the past i guess i'm lots happier. many things have changed...some for the worse (i'm tryin to correct tt) and some for the better (which gives reason to cheer). i guess self-reflection is realli an important part in anybody's life, no matter how big or small you are...it's just something that makes you think about the things happening, and makes you have the passion for a change...yep life rawkx! still missing the free life, especially now because there's this pre-prelims and pre-A's preparation...and thx to NJ, more than 50% of our own time is donated...but i guess within that 50%, there's this 10% of slack time that realli makes mi happi! hahax...the spirit is still in us all ruth, it's blazing, and i'm sure you can feel it...and sure thing it's realli impt in our lives...acts as a pure source of motivation and just making us happi!

todae was a pretty nice dae i guess...altho at the start it was realli tiring, with maths tutorial...still nt too sure bout' CG, but i'm sure practice makes perfect! physics lecture was onli interesting at the end, as they revealed our cohort cts performance. S3 combi rawkx! hahax...highest % pass and % distinctions i tink...and we're pretty above average! was quite happi to hear tt...to see many of us working hard and shifting to the higher level...which is realli good especially when prelims are closing in on us...realli happi fer tt! and miss yee taught the 2nd/3rd/4th classes according to quality grades...she rawkx lar...maths lec was torture. first thing...LT2...had dis dettol smell...nt a faint one, it's realli strong...and fer mi, i sorta hate tt smell...so we spent about 50mins in the lt, wif me tryin nt to breathe too hard...and 50mins made me haf a headache...and den when you got out and the air changes...it just realli stinks all of a sudden. hahax...

physics prac was quite xianz even tho miss yee let us earli...and we clapped for her effort, and den mr tek came frm the back and asked her to congratulate her again...she's nt bad, cept tt sometimes lessons can get quite booky, but at least tt shows quality! and i needa train playing hearts again...kinda losing it. it's a realli nice game lar...aniwaes we were tryin to figure out the ST puzzle to win the Mazda 6 tt jim wants (cuz you can choose if you want to drive automatic or manual which is kinda cool...as in you can switch while driving i tink) and so by calculations, 6 ppl share the car...hahax...we probably know the solution and it makes realli a lotta sense, but the prob is that it's nt a first come wins...it's a lucky draw...hope he wins! GP was shortened by 20mins because of venue collision...and PE was realli fun...we played frisbee! been long since we played in sentosa, the boomer shots, the high angles, and the back shots...miss free time. but playin wif the class was realli farni as sixun and xianlun were the common monkeys and they had to sabo mi by nt catching the frisbee...sighs...but was kinda fun i guess. run run run...throw throw throw...scream scream scream...was realli fun! helps in class bonding i guess hehex...

aniwaes...yesterday went to jam at alvron for the first time. someplace at bukit timah to jam...and yep...first time jamming, and first time playing the drums...it's realli fun...went wif shiwei, rf and kaiyun and amy tagged along. sanjay came later...and then practiced the song 'nuthin else matters' by metallica (it's the onli song i'm quite okie wif...hahax...dun realli like heavy rock) den they played quite well...the guitars were quite screwed up cuz sanjay's was controlling mi volume while mine was controllin his...overall...nt bad lar...went fer milo break after tt den went home...

todae's wednesday, and yep...actualli lessons were quite slack...maths chem, free period pe(which will be a free period next week...and maybe the wk after next...nt too sure but it's due to canoeing...jiayou guys!) which was handball...remembered last yr shiwei had quite a fall playin handball causing him to have a hand injury so serious that a ba-kwa (erm...rou gan yep...tt veri nice barbecued pork...cept tt it's on a hand, and it doesn't have a taste, and it looks burnt) but no deja vu which is gud...den the gals are agressive lor...ruifen was giving mi tt kinda stare...hahax...was quite fun on the whole, but got realli tired in the end.

during civics there was dis best practices fer cca, where 'cca's get to show what they have and get appreciated'. apparently tt didn't happen in lt1 cuz the ppt was okie...den the videos were a little too long...support wasn't tt good either but i guess sometimes, these things happen. so after best practices went down wif jiali to toa payoh swimming complex. swimming nationals...A boys n' A girls...was actualli nice firstly cuz it reminded mi of 浠绘����ㄦ父...because it was held there...and the atmosphere there was fantastic! lotsa ppl, lotsa swimmers, people diving...and yar...love swimming! ruth christine and a few other counsellors were there too...tho the turnout was quite small, but we had the enthusiasm...the gals were screaming like there's no tmr...and it was rather high pitched...hahax...aniwaes it was rather fun...den the events came. the cheering was fantastic (nt by us...hahax...AC) and our gals did pretty well in their event 4x50m freestyle relay...got 2nd...the guys also put up a gud fight...was realli fun! just made me think of swimming again... :D went home wif christine and ruth and both of em were deliberating on how to get jim...hahax...HOT STUFF...

our current existence

it's nt because i am depressed or whatsoever, but somehow i was thinking, what will happen if one day there is no one beside you? no one you can lean on? no one you can count on? or not even one friend?

since the past i've been surrounded by so many people and yet i dun feel comfortable, until a few years ago i realised...it's lots better to have people beside you rather than standing alone. there are many beautiful peopl out there that can affect you with their little words, and make your day with a short wave or even a smile.

basically, i wanna thank all those people around me, just anyone that i know of, whether you're close to me or not...because i believe you play a part in making my day lots better...and also especially to mi gud frens who are alwaes ard to give encouragement and the will to live on, mi parents fer basicalli everithing they have given me and the faith they have in mi...and also those whom are close...you realli make mi dae!

sometimes, even without facial and vocal contact, i can feel...that there are people that are suffering and yet wish us well...thankx fer everithin guys. you've made the world a better place for mi...and make mi existence a lot more meaningful.

haven't been back here fer some time, but i guess everiwan's busy wif stuff. sports cca's havin their nationals, and the upcoming best practice...and lotsa other stuff, including post-cts blues...sighs...i tink i'm gonna screw it but it's okie...

the first dae of lessons fer this term felt weird. i dunno...maybe everiwan's feeling more tired or something, but yar, the atmosphere had sorta changed. lessons were okie, even tho i was slacking fer the whole of dis wk...ms aw wasn't here cuz of swimming nationals so there was this young guy taking over her place fer the time being. hahax...was asking abt our teachers..."if the teacher sucks, just say he/she sucks. dun try to be diplomatic and say "erm okie lar..." " lol...was an ex-njcian but overall his teaching was erm...quite okie. hahax...o wells...

i sorta haf been looking forward to wednesday cuz first it's a slack dae, and next etude XXX! so in the morn things were quite okie, and pe was fun, cuz jiacheng and weepin joined us fer soccer, which was quite evenly spread out cuz we ended up in a draw, but hahax...lotsa farni moments cuz someone tried to volley the ball. lolx...shall haf more of these sessions soon to relief stress...aniwaes pe we did handball which was pretty tiring, running ard the court (a small court) but was quite fun...was realli tired after pe and i tink i strained mi muscles or something, couldn't walk realli properly. o btw todae was career fair, lotsa organisations such as DSTA, SAF, SPF, PUB and others came down to give talks on their scholarship, job opportunities and bonds. went fer DSTA's talk, which was quite interesting esp the DSTA scholar cuz he was talking abt fighter planes and secret projects and also his scholarship. basicalli you get to study in overseas universities, and den you get to travel...which i tink is pretty cool, esp travelling ard europe! i love travelling, tt's why i can't wait till the end of A's...or maybe end of army den i can go contikking! and i'm sure there'll alwaes be ppl who'll wanna go too! :)

aniwaes, there was this quiz later asking abt the various scholarships...had to fill in abt 60q's and the prize was a trip to botanic gardens wif a picnic hamper! hahax...realli gud fer class bonding, tt's why we're so enthu abt it (even tho the secondary reason was tt there were freebies such as stressballs, pens and folders...hahax) gng to certain booths to ask stupid questions, but naah...overall i tink DSTA offers a realli gud scholarship, but it's nuts if i can get in. firstly, they're education criteria is 4A's (as in grades, nt the paper...and it's of cuz A level subjects) which is quite impossible at any rate, and then...actualli tt's it! so muz pia hard fer A's now...hahax...overall it seems realli gud! and had some NE survey later (aka 10% of army survey) and then left sch. before tt, cuz apparently there were some balloons left, so the gals 'coped' and tied to their bags...and somehow i got a pink one. *sweatdrop*...so i was there walking ard wif a pink balloon behind mi head and attracting attention (...) nvm tt...hahax...haven't touched a balloon fer some time liao, so was quite fun...and den mad was whacking her head against her yellow balloon. *sweatdrops*

so i was on mi way to orchard wif maisha, grace, mad and esther, and happens tt there's this little girl in the bus who wanted the balloon...so i gave her the pink one. question one, do all kids like balloons? hahax...later at taka there was a parent asking where we got these balloons frm (sheesh) hahax...so we met jim at taka, wif mad and esther gng to kino fer manga while grace maisha jim n' i went fer some window shopping. note : window shopping. walking into shops seeing their clothes...was quite fun cuz i haven't gone shopping in some time (nt a usual pastime fer a guy, but yar...it's fun...) and jim ar...found out something new abt him todae...hahax...mentality shift yar? how to guess which school's uniform? hahax...

went to cold storage fer a while and heard the sales uncle mumble something abt cherries which i love! but it's realli ex of cuz...so yep...note again : window shopping. met esther and mad to buy flowers fer sixun...in the end we got a big sunflower fer her...and flowers are cheap if you buy dem wif a group of ppl...so each person 60cents...hahax...went to raffles city fer dinner and the atmosphere there was quite high cuz the IOC was voting fer the 2012 olympics venue which haiz...sadly mi paris didn't win...london did, so hope you beckham fans are happi now. but actualli something just struck mi...after london won yesterdae, todae there's this series of bomb blasts in London...quite sad actualli, but there's no news of what's the motive of the attacks yet...sighs...

basicalli when we went in there were police. not one or two, millions of em! hahax...and the balloons we were carryin hit some ppl i tink...ended up at food junction and met shiwei after tt...so in the end all of us were walkin to VCH frm raffles city, even tho we wanted to stay and watch...when we reached VCH it was quite packed...and den when we went in the seats weren't tt comfy, but make do...the performance was awesome. firstly i jus wanna sae ETUDE 30 RAWKX! i mean the pieces they played were world reknown lar, and it's realli nice! the conductor assistant prof Ho was darn pro...and so was thomas, sixun and the rest of the soloists. it was perfect, cept tt there was this farni musical (i tink) happening next door, den halfway you could here some lady performer sing when the band was silent at some parts...and den everiwan started laughing...overall the performance was awesome...and thomas is one unbeatable drummer! i tink the soundtrack frm the incredibles was played realli well, synchronising wif the video...it was realli awesome...

when we left VCH it was already lyke 1030 because of 2 encores...and lotsa screaming...hahax...and then took the train back home. apparently i was veri blur. when the train reached bukit batok and it opened i saw partner and stead walking out! i didn't see em on the train, den when we saw each other, the door closed. partner and i were lyke putting our hands on seperate sides of the train door...haiz...fate ar...hahax...lolx...never had dis happening before...so was actualli quite fun. reached home at abt 11.45...

todae we had a evacuation drill which we took abt 15mins instead of the stipulated 3mins...hahax...seems lyke there's gonna be another one soon. and the flagbearer's face was so black...heard tt bern's gonna do it tmr...first time's are alwaes scary eh? jiayou wor...i guess everiwan was so dead cuz of last nite...o wells...gotta get more slp and will blog sometime later bout other stuff... :) all e best guys and all the best fer results!

later went on to west mall to watch initial d wif partner stead n' jj (jollyjim nt linjunjie hahax...hmmm...partner loves jj...lolx...smacks self fer tt=) ) and was at kfc. were debating on which part of the chicken was the nicest...if i'm nt wrong the order was 2x[2breast2thigh] and 2x[2thigh2drum] 2x[coleslaw/mashed potato] and 4x[mountaindew] and ruth has phobia fer chicken drumsticks cuz there seems to be a vein when you eat it...erm yar...hahax...and also the chilli in coleslaw and mash potato...was realli farni lar...everiwan acts weird when we're together, saeing things tt haf no link, but tt's what keeps us gng hahax! aniwaes after tt we went up to catch the 2.40movie and it was freezing in the theatre...realli...luckily christine brought her extra large sweater so tt ruth and her were warm...

Movie Review : Initial D
for those jay chou (playing Takumi, tofu delivery boy, petrol assistant, and a freaking pro racer) fans out there and also those ppl looking out fer anne suzuki (playing Natsuki Mogi, jay's girlfriend, student, and something else...watch the show!), this is an extremely great show to watch. and for those who like fast driving, close drifts, tight turns, and lotsa competition this has got to be the show to watch. seriously. because the driving is real, and you can realli see how professional dis ppl are at tight turns wif perfect drifts taking the shortest line possible...it's just amazing, especially mid hill drifting, you gotta watch this. those who are looking for cheekiness and farni parts, it's nt bad, especialli wif Chapman To (playing Itsuki Tachibana, takumi's best fren and a professional driver wannabe), wif his catchy line (tt he said thrice) "�����镐俊���涓�浣�绁�锛�绁�涔����浜猴��������绁����浜�涓�浜�浜哄��涓���扮��涓�瑗匡�����浠ヤ��琚�绉颁负绁�" hahax...realli farni, and also Anthony Wong (playing takumi's father and a ex-professional racer) drinking and smoking his way thru the show but you'll realise he's cool! hahax...but for those who are looking for a great storyline and unpredictability, and also a nice ending, look somewhere else.

for those who don't realli know what the storyline is, i'm nt gng to spoil it here, but if you realli wanna read it, it's here. you probably have heard of the Initial D game in arcades and out on PS2, and probably read the manga and watch the anime, so expect no less of professional driving and exciting turns. you'll be able to catch the storyline easily, but it's due to a lack of elaboration. the driving takes up about more than half of the show, which is gud fer mi cuz it's just exciting and brings back the spirit of racing in needforspeedunderground2...the ending is quite sudden and anticlimax, so if you're looking for a good ending turn away. if you're looking forward to coolness (one handed driving, fast gear shifting and answering questions wif 'uh, mm, or' tt realli make jay look realli cool) you're in for a treat. jay is such eye candy fer gals, so is anne suzuki fer guys! and look out for takumi's dad who's 50% drunk, and his sudden professional driving...overall i rate the show 4 bubbles out of 5 for mi preference fer driving and it's just so exciting! christine was lyke so excited bout jay chou throughout and also erm...squeaking during the races...o btw, some characters such as jordan chan, edison chan deserve more screen time i guess...hahax...but it's nice! go watch it!

had a great time wif em and dem met mi parents fer dinner, and met mdm chok, mi music teacher from swiss cottage! hahax...finalli saw her...uhem...hahax...but it's okie lar...it's natural...

after lunch went to slack at oasis, and heard band playing john williams "duel of the fates" (from Star Wars Episode One : The Phantom Menace, where Quaigonjinn and Obiwan Kenobe fought Darth Maul yep) and was quite exciting, cuz currently i'm playin starwars knights of the old republic...so yep...went up fer maths s and was overall passable...i hope...i'm nt too sure either cuz i skipped one whole q! arrgh...but i was so looking forward to the end of the paper cuz it meant...freedom! hahax...left sch fer home and changed, and den left fer PS.

finalli a celebration! so we (bernie jiali ruth christine jim melvin keefe yichuen zhimin) were planning to watch Initial D todae, but tix were sold out, so in the end we didn't noe wad to do, but the first thing was to find food, so we went to pizza hut which was crowded and booked a slot, and the next to kfc, bk and mos, which were full as well. went to level 2 n' 3 but restaurants were full, so tt went 20mins...so in the end we decided to go back down to b2 fer pastamania...queued fer 20mins and finalli got our seats...they had dis clam wif white wine pasta, so tried tt out and was nt bad! partner was tryin hard to finish her pasta but hahax...nvm lar, gud try.

aniwaes, before i go on, i guess i've to thank all of em fer giving each other such a wonderful time, talking, joking, saying lame stuff, and just being ard each other. cuz it was realli farni esp ruth n' christine the "Reactive Catalysts"...hahax...they can make you realli laugh, cuz start talking and start laughing demselves, and then you just join in...hahax...melvin & jim were realli darn farni todae lar...dunno why they're so on form too, but they're alwaes lidat...keefe and yichuen fer their insights on billgates and sim wong hu (shudders i seem to haf spelt it wrong)...zhimin fer talking bout erm limin? hahax...was realli fun to see him too...fourskin! hahax...and jiali and bern alwaes so active...it's just so fun! fer those who missed it, or if we din spread the info to you...we're realli veri sorri, cuz there was some disseminating error, but the next time dis wun happen...promise!

after food we left fer esplanade, walking past citilink mall where we saw maisha! hahax...cts are over of cuz slack lar...at the link between esplanade and citilink mall, there were some padawan baskers, tossing balls, juggling sticks and also dancing (were commenting bout some gay guy tieing his shirt to chest height...eel...hahax) and then walked to esplanade. reached there and saw ppl having blazers and stuff...cuz todae was syf opening! hahax...went up and the ceiling was covered wif hanging transparent plastic jigsaw pieces, which is absolutely cool! hahax...serious...i want tt in mi room! so sparkly...took photos and den went on to the riverside to buy drinks and slack ard...i got mi glass bottle coke todae! hahax...wif some unknown words on it...hahax...den christine and ruth were laughing till partner cried...was darn darn farni...i guess it's hard to put all into words, but the esplanade's just great to slack ard! honestly, i wish i could do this wif em every week...hahax...

so in the end, went home at ard 10+ wif christine ruth jim yichuen zhimin, and was quite farni on the train where they were playing stacking hands to see whose hand reached the top of the pole first...hahax...and was crapping bout christine's cousin...hahax! was realli fun...

and todae i learnt something new thanx to bern...quite shocked actualli...
