sinful...really sinful

i shall put this post back to two days ago...but it's actualli written on the 31th of course!

Dear diary,

[0000hrs] it's finally my birthday! yays! i've been so looking forward to this day since...i dunno when! but it's been a really long year since the past one, and i'm really looking forward to it! hopefully there are many surprises in store...realli tired now...received a couple of instant msgs and smses...tt's realli fast! hope there are more to come! whee!

[0800hrs] feels like it's a brand new day here, but my body's still aching...nt because of any workout, but rather tired after all the shopping. and mi fingers too...thanks to the new guitar! love it so much, even tho it's realli hurting mi fingers, o wells...time for breakfast! shall eat a light and healthy one, because tonite's going to be really sinful!

[1000hrs] hmmm...i remember at the causeway last nite stead msged mi something abt meeting at ten o'clock...i wonder if she sent it to the wrong person again. but it's at CCK, at ten? could it be? i tink i better stay at home and wait...and i shall act blur on the way! (sidenote : hahax it's nt your fault okie? i was still surprised!)

[1030hrs] just received a call wishing mi happy birthday...realli nice! probably meeting her later, but depends on time...i still can't wait fer the dinner! whee!

[1124hrs] i guess i was wrong then...been waiting fer one hour, where are they? maybe i was thinking too much, shall go down and haf a walk and try out the new macro shot from the camera. finally unlocked and unleashed it's full potential, it's nt tt bad, just hafta play around wif it longer! at the same time, lemme see if they are hiding downstairs...hahax!

[1125hrs] just received a rather weird call...they were asking fer mr wong tat wei...who's tt? but i guess i'm just blur and said he's nt at home, even tho there's no such name in mi family. it sounds like some old guy, wanting to ask fer a survey or something. but then again, there was jim's no. on the caller ID, could it be his dad? i wonder...hahax naah they wun pull of such a funny stunt, will they?

[1130hrs] am back from a short walk downstairs, no pictures to take. wanted to snap a bird eating rice, but i guess i scared the birds away. wonders...when i walked back i saw a couple of heads popping down and saying something, but i forgot what...could just be a couple of kids upstairs, the usual troublemakers, or probably the bike gang...o wells. and when i came up i saw some people popping their head from the wall, wonder who could tt be. couldn't haf been the kids, they aren't so tall.

[1135hrs] i hear the doorbell! and someone's blocking the doorviewer...hahax so i was rite lar! (sidenote : again...it's nt your fault! i was still surprised! and i'm really happy!)

[1136hrs] ahhh! ruth! jiali! melvin! weepin! jim! all outside the door! and wif a realli nice chocolate cake! ahhh! and my house is still so darn messy lar! nvm shall let them in first...i'm so happy lar! i never would've thought my frens would come all the way up here!

[1200hrs] the cake was so darn nice! even tho there was still so much chocolate...jiali reminded mi of the cake we had during the chalet...so chocolatey lar! but it was still realli nice! and they even bought a platter of random sushi here tt was so nice! honestly speaking in my life i'd have never imagined i'll be so lucky to receive all of this. just really lost for words now! and i haven't seen them for so long, so yar, i'm realli in raptures. and jiacheng came too! with his baleno 'WATER' shirt wif tt jelly stuff...hahax! everyone's tryin to touch it...looks obseen! so many people lar! i'm still a little shaken and shocked over here...but it's really fun and great to see so many familiar faces!

[1300hrs] stead and jiali just left fer council stuff...seems like all the councillors have been working really hard to make orientation 2006 a success! wishing them all the best in their planning and i know their hard work will pay off and be appreciated! aniwaes we were playing german bridge just now and was realli funny. stead was so gud lar to learn it in a day...even tho she didn't know how to play bridge but she tried hard! partner too! wish she was here, but she's sick...still wishing her all the best and (thanks for the tag! i really had lotsa fun, love ya too! take care!) it just brings back so many memories lar...realli miss all of em!

[1405hrs] the rest of the guys just chilled around looking through the couple of nice memories from maldives (and the two pw vids...realli stupid lar...my turn lehz!) baby rabbits, sleeping people and soccer! i mean wif the yellow stress ball of course! and we watched a soccer match too...and took more photos of jiacheng! whee! looks like it's nt tt rare anymore...hahax! seems like we're gng to meet grace later at amk...shall go change first...

[1440hrs] mrts are rather boring if you sit there alone, but just reading the new paper now wif the guys...some articles are rather...i dunno. and it's starting to rain. the weather's terrible these days, i tink i'm gonna get sick.

[1450hrs] now at amk mrt. it's been some time since i came here...the last time was coming to visit my cousin and also working. o wells, looks rather deserted...and it's raining heavily lar! shall rest fer a while...

[1505hrs] just ran across a really heavy rain wif jim and grace...and there seems to be a present inside the bag! am feeling a little hungry...and heard we're eating at mos burger...looks rather ex but it's okie fer mi i guess...warm up fer later!

[1555hrs] waah wad a lunch lar! and jim's leaving fer somewhere else while grace's heading home...shall head to serangoon mrt fer the time being...easier to get to merchant court tt way, and might meet mi cousin on the way! whee! seeing each other everyday for the past 4 days...tt's just realli great lar!

[1730hrs] hahax...realli funny lar. (and your piano playing rocks! waving your head and stuff...why not you teach mi piano and i teach you guitar? hahax!) photos definitely show you how different you are than before. it's just realli funny to look back at those moments where we were so happy and carefree...smiling alwaes, and we didn't care what we did! and looking at the stupid things we did, hahax! aniwaes am currently on my way to clarke quay mrt from serangoon...might be a little late...

[1805hrs] o it's swissotel merchant court! the facade is so nice lar...reminds me of berjaya times square in kl (might blog abt it later...a little drowsy rite now) and so class! beside the singapore river too! aniwaes i just checked out the prices for the Ellenborough Market Cafe, SGD$39+++...hope mi uncle didn't recommend the wrong place...he says it's realli nice tho, fer seafood lovers and also dessert lovers...shall try later.

[1830hrs] met mi cousins and parents and relatives here! haven't had such a dinner fer so long lar! okie i can smell the food from here...shall go in and try!

[1835hrs] i'm realli lost for words...the food is so awesome lar! fresh salmon sashimi, live oysters, shark fins soup on the spot, fried ice cream, chocolate fondue, crayfish, soft shell crab, abt 12 differen types of cakes and puddings, fresh prawns, seafood ommelette and so much more! wahahaha...really lost for words...shall go try now!

[2030hrs] realli realli full...and happily full! i can't believe all the food i just ate lar...even tho it's ex, but it's realli worth it! o yar boon ting came as well, and the more the merrier! whee! i had never had a more sinful dessert than chocolate fondue...it's really...hahax...i can't describe the feeling of chocolate and marshmallow and strawberry...too nice! and the live seafood! and the durian paste here is heavenly...even tho it looks like...erm yar, but it's so darn nice! wish i could haf more...but am bloated. dun tink i'm gng chinablack after this...i'm too full and dun wanna puke out all the great food! whee!

[2200hrs] walked around clarke quay fer a while to digest, seems realli nice to be living here. with a great view of the clarke quay, great food, and definitely great ambience with a tinge of the singaporean flavor. wish there were more places like this next time...but this is definitely one of the most memorable birthdays ever! okie...the most!

[2300hrs] finally reached home after tt long taxi wait...but realli tired now. shall haf a rest...it's been a really happy and eventful day with so much love and surprises around every corner. really thankful for all the i've received...thanks again guys!

so yar...again, i wanna thank everyone who wished me or celebrated wif me...it meant lots to me because iv'e never received so much love and so many blessings before. thanks again! love ya guys! still lost for words...take care and dun get sick! whee!

you're not the light from the sun
and not the reflection of dawn
not a heavenly angel

relooking

last nite i had a couple of dreams about maldives and the class, so yar, shall take this entry to talk about what happened over the past two years...haf a feeling this is going to be very very long, so please do bear with me.

looking back to the release of prelim results 2003, i just thought of NJ as one of my top few choices, because firstly it was good, second because mi cousin was inside and she seemed to be doing well (hahax quite crap actually) and also because it was known to be a college that accepts the residue of the PAE from RJ and HCJC...hahax so yar, it'd be a more condusive atmosphere i thought. but aniwaes, yar, i landed in nj in the end, which a great choice now that i look back at it.

first 3 months was really fun, but i didn't know what to expect at first. coming from a school of great friends and being seperated by this vicious system wasn't easy at first...it took some time fer mi to adapt to the increasing challenges and also having to manage my new friendships. but thanks to the friendly and lively orientation atmosphere, making friends was pretty easy i guess, and i'm glad to say that from that day i've formed some long lasting friendships that most probably will last a lifetime. even tho mass dance was really awkward at times, and even tho it was really tiring sometimes to cheer over and over again (sheesh i seem to be repeating the prom nite skit...hahax!), it was really fun! thanks to the orientation OGLs who were so patient and funny, fitting into the class wasn't really an obligation but rather, a natural reaction. those 3 months playing cards, even though we knew we were not supposed to...and just doing up the class notice board at TC26, were actually some of the defining moments of class bonding. although there were disputes in the class sometimes, it was easily resolved by new rumors...hahax how can i forget those times...

soon those 3 months passed rather quickly, and some of us left to different schools. for those who could stay, more than half of us chose to and also with the same combi, which was mainly because we found potential in our capability to bond as a class (erm what?? hahax ignore mi i'm crapping) it was rather sad to have some of us split up, but it was inevitable sometimes...but then again, when you lose some, you win some too. of course there were new entries, which didn't fit in well at first because yar, we had a close knitted class in 3 months, so introducing new people was definitely new...but i guess after some time (with our warm welcomes...hahax kiddin lar) it all fitted in like jigsaw pieces. with the new class formed, and with gruelling lectures (drawing on other's notes, drooling on it, and...maybe with oil drops? i dunno...), long tutorials (miss yee the fast walker, ms ng's pronounciation of magdeline...tink she was reading too much of that book, and ms aw's 'thin and sharp voice'...o yar remember mdm lau? excited state...hahax!) and also our canteen breaks (fried egg with cod fish)...o yar our PE was really fun too remember? (floorball and also tennis and captain's ball...) hahax...so many funny moments in the two years, and there's just too many to talk of.

also, there were also so many celebrations...teachers' day, youth day, racial harmony day, national day and many many others which really lightened up our spirits, giving us another chance to dance to the familiar mass dances, and also times fer outings! remember the sakae sushi buffets? and the venesia ice creams? honestly speaking, our class is a really really really really really fun class, and veri veri veri enthu too! our outings were really fun too...sentosa, flying kites, and our chalet...too many memories i tink. tt's why i never fail to smile when i look back at our class, with funny classmates who never fail to make you laugh, and some who are great to talk to, and also to crap away. we all have our unique personalities, but somehow, we still manage to fade our lives each others. might be the times that we've spent together, might be the way we support each other, and might also been the way we believe in each other, but in simpler terms, somehow i guess it's fate that brought us together...hahax!

and not to forget the various CCA's that we had...i actually joined guitar at first because i wanted to learn how to play it, and somehow, i got to know so many great friends there! just by playing music, carrying fans here and there, playing the same piece over and over again, rehersals and more rehersals...no matter how gruelling it was, it was still fun! and also during our SYF period, where we were so tensed and jumped in joy after hearing that we got GOLD! yays! we've put in a lotta hard work, okay, it's more fair to say that the exco's and our instructor put in most of the work, and it really did pay off that day! so happy lar...and don't forget all the performances, busking that we had together, because it was fun and funny! guitar rawkx!

soon as the new year passed, i chanced on this opportunity to visit maldives. which i've said many times, has really changed my life! in those 10 days we've gotten to know each other, working hand in hand (literally!), and all the crap that happened, it has been more than a miracle. the simplicity of life in maldives taught us many things not only about ourselves, but also the meaning of life. even though we're leading very different lives, we still could communicate with them through simple actions; a smile, a handshake, or just a pat on the head. and the returns of an equally beautiful and heartwarming smile is just really fulfilling. also, with the constant encouragements by the people around us, a sincere cup of tea, and working under the scorching sun but yet still happy, we led a simple yet happy life. no mugging (or almost), no electronics (okay, almost...exclude the camera), and no barriers (soccer was our language, hahax! to think my specs broke that day...haha)...it's just pure happiness! it was so fulfilling just doing what we were supposed to do...and the friendships that we forged with each other were amazing. even though we might not have gotten to know each other well in maldives, somehow, we grew lots closer back in nj! i shan't mention names here, because you know who you are! i really appreciate what you guys have done for me all these months, and all that we've gone through, because that's the best that i could ever receive!

it's been a rollercoaster ride, but i'm glad i went through it with you guys! fried ice cream, our daily waves at the grandstand, birthdays at black canyon, and also the smiles and hugs. oh yar, mass dance too! and don't forget our maldives chalet! i'll never forget the beautiful memories that we've gone through together...the sincerity and the simplicity, and also the stupid things we do! you guys are the nicest batch i've ever met, and i've never been closer to any of my juniors before, so thank you! of course, the muggin gang (J2s) rawkx so much lar! and also the IPs...in every way, all of you have contributed to who i am today, so thank you lots! i guess i've already said enough of how nice and sweet you guys are, so yar, you know it deep down inside that we had really great memories! *what is said and written is good, what is left unsaid and unwritten but yet understood is simply beautiful*

so soon, so fast, but all great things must come to an end. it's only fitting that it comes bright! with lotsa camera flashes i mean! hahax the last day of school was yar, sad during the presentation, seeing messages from teachers and juniors, class after class. and all the memories we once had, coming to an end. and all the phototaking and smiles, and the encouragements to spur us on further towards our A's. yar it was really touching that day...to think that the 2 years just passed just like that...sighs...time passes really so fast. hope that happens in army too!

exams were tough...but we were tougher...hahax! i guess we all pulled through...nj has drilled us enough for us to survive. and then it ended...honeslty speaking, as a roundup, NJ has been a blessing. from the start to the end, i've learnt lots more than books could teach. okay i guess that happens in maybe every JC, but NJ's warm and condusive environment allows us to fit in, and learn things really easily. and also by giving varied opportunities for development; overseas CIP, enrichment courses, scholarship options and yar many others. the teachers were wonderful, even tho some of them had funny quirks and habits (erm the union that meets at the rubbish bin? hahax)...so yar, all in all, NJ's great! for all the friendship that has been forged...and everything else that gave us *a hollistic development throughout your two years in NJ*, thanks once again!

even though our school life has officially ended (or at least for the guys, for the time being), that doesn’t mean the end of our journey as friends! and I’m sure there’ll be more adventures to come for all of us...because I know, that these friendships forged are special and life-long! I’m sure lotsa you guys have great futures ahead of you, and will continue to inspire many along your path of life, so hang in there, and you’ll be able to reach your goals! continue dreaming!

brewing porridge with spices

some things are better left alone. no matter how much you worry about someone, you worry if your worry is for nothing. and maybe we're better off not worrying.

but i just can't stop worrying!

just wishing that you're alright. i don't know what's going on (man! a beetle in the house! die die...*finds electric swapper*) and i don't dare to ask, but i just hope you're alright and yar, some things are happening and it's definitely beyond our control.

i can see a storm brewing...might consider brewing porridge tomorrow, wonders...

and honestly speaking, when you hear of epics like king kong, you'll probably think it's nice...i'm not sure, but it just doesn't fit in right...shall talk abt it later in the afternoon...nitez!

on a lighter note

i guess the past entry sounded really really depressing eh? o wells, couldn't help it after reading tt email, and hope tt you did too. because such things just...are really weird, when we're living at the total opposite ends of the happiness spectrum...

aniwaes, went to the dentist yesterday, and i'm just...horrified after going there. maybe it's because of the metal instruments they stick into your mouth with. or maybe it's the mini binocular spectacles that they wear. or maybe it's just the funny songs they play which cleaning your teeth. eeks! i'm not gng there again lar...hahax. it was a rather painful yet funny experience...tink i had lotsa stuff stuck in between mi teeth and also a little bleeding gums, so it was rather painful...but the dentist was having this strong aussie accent tt was just funny sometimes and i tried nt to laugh on several occasions, but yar i still did! and it hurt lar...hahax. in the end he gave some flouride stuff to bite which tasted like marshmallow...i tink i told a lotta people liao, but i love marshmallows! especially those which are brown on the outside and soft and creamy on the inside! hahax...sweet tooth...

hmmm...today was a rather interesting day i guess. causeway point is a really a great place to shop fer weird stuff. can't find those at lot one, hahax. okie i'm speaking weird, but went to orchard this evening because mi dad has a $50 tangs voucher from somewhere, and went to shop there fer something. even tho we already knew what to expect, it was still pretty shocking. $59 for a kiapper (or issit called a crabhammer? those tt you crack the crab shells wif...i dunno) $79 for a china plate (as in made of china, which you can get at pasar malams fer 10bucks? ) so yar, in the end after walking around (wow...coffee maker wif a colored lcd for $4899) the whole of tangs, we decided...to save it till next year. hahax! tt's because the voucher lasts till 2007, which is still a long way from now, so yar, just as long as we put it in the right place and stopping it from entering the trash as waste paper, it's still good.

walking along orchard road's fun too...without having people asking you for money and surveys. taking photos (hmmm realised there are some flaws with the IXUS 55...but o wells it's still good!) and eating ice cream, and just going down watching funny advertisements. remember the credit card "manhattan"? they were like publicising it wif a procession, with people having funky afros, bunny suits, furry tops and a walking statue of liberty...was pretty cool i thought. people just have really funny ways of advertising i guess, need new ideas to impress the people. and then more phototaking...yawnx

really tiring day...am looking forward to a pretty deep sleep...take care everyone!

(personally i tink this shot's pretty good, but apparently it was just a random shot from dad...hahax!)

sensitivity, understanding and real aid

i always knew that there was famine and poverty and ethopia and african cities, but i never knew that it was in such a state that...my definition of famine and poverty was totally altered. the pictures that you are about to see might be pretty shocking to some, for one i was absolutely distraught when i saw this email...anyway, to the person who sent me this, thank you for enlightening me. it has just opened my eyes to the world around me, about how lucky that we really are. before this i was thankful, but after that mail, i'll be eternally thankful.

when we look into our modern society, of our aspirations of the 5C's, and also what we really want, do think of this entry and think about what you want in life again. when you think that you're unlucky to have such parents, not rich enough to afford trendy clothes, not fortunate to enjoy the best of the best, please do redefine your definition of happiness and wealth.

it's just that in our lives, when we feel that we're not lucky enough, we actually really are. please be thankful for all that you're receiving, for that act of receiving is a gift itself. all the things that are happening in your life, relationships, friendships, luxury...do not take that for granted. i know i'm sounding really serious and probably critical, but honestly i teared when i read this message. do reach into your inner soul and think again, am i living a wonderful life? should i be really complaining for some things that are actually wonderful? think about it.

Quote : "I pray that we will be more sensitive towards the suffering in the world around us and not be blinded by our own selfish nature and interests. I hope this picture will always serve as a reminder to us about how fortunate we are and that we must never ever take things for granted. "

Quote : "I felt very fortunate to live in this part of the world. I promise I will never waste my food no matter how bad it can taste and how full I may be. I promise not to waste water. I pray that this little boy be alleviated from his suffering.

Quote : "People have said time and again that it's better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all. But what they will probably never understand is how I'll always be a winner for having loved you. "

class chalet 2005!

shan't talk much about it...i'm sure there'll be others who will probably blog about it. hahax...i'll just summarise in a few sentences then.

we all lead out different lives, with our different ways of living, and it isn't easy for us to live with each other...we're all special in our own ways, but on the whole, when a group of people come together, there'll surely be fun, and this sure was one! thanks for everything, and to all who came, hope you guys enjoyed it too! sorry for the exorbitant fees tho...but i'm just glad you guys came!

sun.sand.sea.sky.simplicity.smoke.smell.

sometimes

hahax...sometimes you just need a little boost. i guess i just got mine. there are always people out there to cheer you up when you're a little lost, and probably a little sad, and that little encouragement does give you the strength to really carry on. no matter how small the memory is. no matter how short. no matter if you realise it or not.

i do now...and that's something i will cling on to for the strength! hahax thanks lots lar! didn't know actually, but i'm glad i do now! love ya!

chalet! *claps* 7-9...13-15...miss you guys lots! i know it's really sad that yar...sometimes things just happen, and i know what i said might not help ease the pain, but yar, we understand and really still want you to enjoy your holiday. as much as we miss you, we wouldn't want to see you sad on a trip, so yar, try to enjoy as much as you can okay? i love you!

a night to remember!

wahahaha! last nite was realli one of the most memorable nights i've ever had. definitely! "Though this ceremony officially means the end of your journey in NJC, but it definitely does not make the end of the times when i will smile at all the memories with you in kudafari!" hahax thx christine! i realli appreciate the effort you put into the card, even tho it's slanted, but it's still from your heart! but i'm sure for many of us, even though this is an official ceremony marking the end of our term in our school, our lives will continue overlapping and "we will still be, friends forever!" (Graduation - Vitamin C)

o wells, shall start talking about prom. honestly speaking, i was realli shocked when i went into swissotel. i mean you really couldn't recognise anyone cuz everyone's looking really different wif their make up, dress up and yar...everyone was looking absolutely georgeous and handsome! a truly colourful event to showcase how stylish and erm...cool we all were? of course there were many familiar faces like dot, christine, jolynn, ruth and jiali who were there to yar, conduct their ushering and ensuring that our day went on perfect! to the 38th student council and all those who made this prom nite a huge success, you've done a realli great job and realli appreciate the great effort put in! it's been an awesome nite with good food and yep, the games and stuff were pretty innovative! other than the fact that some got injured tryin to jump on stage...hahax. but yep, a job well done! *applause*

so yar, after entering the main lobby, we took a couple (okay definitely more than that...please upload to...erm...wherever there is) of photos and yar, everyone just looked amazing. i'm sure most tourists must be shocked abt what's gng on in tt hotel...i mean it was so lively and everyone was just talking and taking photos and jumping around...it was just great. went upstairs to the ballroom lobby and took lots more photos, and we met lotsa familiar faces...everyone was just having a great time. even the councillors were having a great time. and this is even before the dinner even started! hahax...definitely better than mi secondary school prom!

actualli the atmosphere, no matter how formal it should've been, was actualli rather casual and veri funny. pretty sad i didn't take a photo of him, but yar, thomas (wong) was in some greek gladiator costume and it was just really funny seeing his helmet bob around the crowd and taking photos. it was realli funny as yar, who would have dreamt of coming in as a gladiator? and it looked pretty cool i must say, great effort! we also got this goodie bag which had a bar of soap, a keychain, DVD rental voucher, and some other stuff...overall yep, i'm sure they put a lot of effort into making this a success. thanks again! after checking the tix and lots more phototaking after meeting people who were just so...shocking...hahax, we finally went into the ballroom.

the ballroom was pretty nice actualli, with great lighting and about 40-50 tables...nt realli sure, but it's around there. it looked pretty spacious too, together wif a stage and yep, was fabulous. soon the MC came in and yep, some shouting games to check how enthu we were, and then followed by the dinner. actualli it was a realli nice sight, the food was great, and everyone was just having a good time. and later, we had some performances, by council (which was realli farni cuz ruth could be herself...oops! hahax but yar it was just realli funny) and some singing talents in our school (SRJK was great!) and also some dances (by Western Dance and also by Nobody? hahax) with such activities lined up...totally enjoyed miself.

o yes and there was this farni contest abt spotting the advertisements from the song...so watching TV pays...hahax but it was realli farni as most of the people came from our side of the group. and people who ran up and jumped on stage got their legs injured or something...hahax. but yar, fer the fun of it many of us went up cuz there was some competition between the left side and the right side of the hall. so the right side (the champions) won! hahax...we rawk lar, but the point system was for the fun of it, just to liven up the atmosphere i tink. after that more great food and dances, and more photos...hahax...it never seems to stop.

then of course by tradition, we had the prom king/prom queen contest...so there were five guys up there and five gals, and they were judged by their catwalking and machowalking...whatever you call that. thomas was realli daring lar! and because of that...hahax most of us voted fer him and he became our prom king. of course he was outside his Troy uniform before that...and our prom queen was none other than Hui Min cuz she was veri glam and yar, pretty chio too! hahax...we voted by putting light sticks onto poles and yar the guy and gal who had the most no. of light rings became the prom king and queen! hahax of course there was a huge difference between the king and queen and the rest, but yar, good effort by the rest of you guys!

to the councillors, especially to jiali, ruth, christine, jolynn and dot...yep great job done! i'm realli glad that we haf you guys planning our prom, because it was fantastic. *pats back and hugs* i hope i didn't use too much strength too! hahax...jiayou kays? i know there's gonna be other stuff, but yar, hopefully the success to this year's prom nite will give you a morale boost so that you'll perform even better for the events to come! i know you can do it!

after prom, the class guys thought of booking a room, but yar due to the shortage of money (because $390 for a room for a night is simply outrageous) and even though we travelled long distances...we first went to RELC cuz it was cheap, but hard to bring more people into a room supposedly fit for 2 (we had 7 actualli), and they didn't allow us for obvious reasons (maximising profit lar...tsk tsk...) and then Orchard Hotel and Orchard Parade Hotel which was near Devil's Bar...both were too much for our wallet to take...so we ended up at the Forum's 24hr Macs. everyone was just realli sleepy, but we tried our best to keep awake, buying McNugget meals, fries, coffee and milo...and also doing some stupid stuff. it's just realli amazing what you can hear from people when they are in the midst of dreamland but yet hanging on to reality...wish we had more people, but i'm sure that'll be great during chalet! even the Macs stuff were tired...i mean putting mcnuggets into a McWing's box is just wrong when you actualli ordered McWings. and then putting McWings into McNugget box...darn farni. and the after Boss and Rizal konked out, aaron jim shiwei mi and xianlun (in anticlockwise order) played cai(1) quan(2) (guessing numbers...that game where if you guess the correct no of sum of hands you eliminate one player before you...hahax) fer abt 1hr ++ and it was realli farni cuz everyone was on the verge of sleeping and there were instant kills everywhere...wif Macs constantly playing the Dragostea Din Tei wif Chicken little...hafta be there to experience it. and we weren't even drinking lar! everyone was just so...dazed and hahax...it was just really funny. went home at ard 4+ and woke up at around 12...pretty shiok actualli.

o wells, now i'm just looking forward to the chalet which i hope is going to be lotsa fun! i need people to help mi to plan...hahax sorri fer waiting so long, but yar after A's activities, so not much time to plan too...have a great day!
