hahax the past week sure has been rather eventful, but i must say it's a rather hectic and tiring week too. *sighs* next week's gonna be a little worse hmmm

aniwaes yep just to let you guys know, i might not be replying your msgs and calls, mainly because ya of camp's policy of not bringing handphones in, so if you receive a call from me means tt i'm out! yep it's going to be rather hard and painful, but i'm tryin my best to pull thru! but still, do keep the msgs coming hahax...

hahax dimsum meet with fellow maldivians was so fun lar! *sniggers* and yes we were coaxed into paying, altho i was expecting it but still hahax...kidding lar. it sure was fun tho...walking around chinatown with all the chinese cultural infusion and heritage hahax. okie lar chinatown is mine di pan mah, or used to be. i'm sure jiacheng and i can proudly call it our di pan hahax...and yep dimsum added to the heightened experience! really had a good catching up and yar, it's been about 16 months since maldives and yet we're still so close! :)

den followed by class outing with maisha ruifen sixun grace shiwei jason xianlun, which i haven't seen most of them for a veri long time. marche really knows how to earn money...and starbucks too! but all in all, we caught up wif each other before we part for uni and for the guys, back to ns! i remember the times where we spent in the canteen and hahax it sure has been a wonderful 2 years!

i guess tt's all for now...rushing back to camp and nt sure when i'm coming back...*sighs* but i shall push on for you! :)

wa biang!

yayness! finally back home! after 10 days in brunei, 9 days of training, 8 meals in the cookhouse, 7 minutes of weird turnouts, 6 days in camp, 5 hours of average sleep, 4 days outfield in temburong, 3 days harbouring outfield, 2 hours each on boat and plane on 2 days, and lastly 1 day of R&R, i'm finally back!

okay, that sums up still, to only 10 days *sweatdrop*.

anyway, even though it was a short 10 days, it's been a rather interesting learning experience. even though we get pumped everyday like nobody's business, and where only 15mins of admin time is extremely rare, i've learnt a lot about not only engineers, but also surviving in army as well. looking back at the past 10 days and meeting so many different people, it's been quite an experience.

actually, it has been extremely fun! the outfield parts especially, where we camp under the moonlit sky (i dun recall seeing any moon, but i'll assume it aniwaes!), with a blazing campfire from twigs, branches and logs, cooking instant noodles, and just chatting and chilling! and what's more, the instructors have rather different personalities outfield, and yep mine rocks lar! thanks 2LT Yang...hahax thought you were rather fierce at the start, but actually you're a really nice and funny person! all the best till your ORD! and if you happen to be reading this, send us the photos please!

after climbing mount biang and navigating thru the jungles of brunei, it increased my confidence of being able to survive in the wild. hahax i sound like some ranger, but definitely thru these experiences you know you've become a better navigator, better leader, and also a stronger person. especially at times when you horlan (aka get lost) in the forest (which fortunately we didn't, except for once), you wouldn't give up so easily and definitely you're more determined to find the path to success. drinking mountain water, getting stuck in mud, and swimming in the river...yep it sure has been a great experience!

at the brunei airport this morning, it just felt rather sad. the atmosphere was dying, even tho everyone was watching world cup and aww-ing, ahh-ing and walao-ing for portugal. i guess it's the last day where most of us will ever see each other till 5 months later. it just felt like hours ago where we were playing soccer at the basketball court and trashing the seniors, seconds ago where we had social night, and milliseconds ago where we departed singapore for brunei. honestly speaking, all of us who've left for support arms are really missing SAFTI, especially our dear foxtrot wing...*sighs* but every step forward will have a step in return, so hopefully this step forward will be swift, and the next step will be our commissioning!

back there, somehow even due to time constraint, you get to think thru many things. especially when others who are new ask you about your past, you'll wonder about friendships, relationships and also family ties. i really did miss my family lots over there, and also many people that are close to me, but sometimes when you look at things on the flipside, some friendships seem to be walking the plank. and sometimes you really want to know how you feel about someone truly, but you don't even know what you're feeling about yourself. now it's a little tougher to trust friendship because i guess i've too many doubts all of a sudden, but definitely i still know a true friend from one that puts up a facade. bleh...hahax dun worry, i'm not depressed or anything, just a thought. hmmm just came across a song on 933 that really speaks of some of my close friendships...
